Crow Creek Elementary School

Crow Creek Elementary School is located in Fort Thompson SD, 20 miles north of Chamberlain SD, near the Big Bend Dam and the Crow Creek Sioux Tribal Headquarters.  The elementary school serves students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.  Students may reside in Fort Thompson, the communities of Crow Creek, Bad Nation, Big Bend or the rural areas throughout the reservation.  In addition to the traditional classroom experience, students participate in physical education, art, music, Native American language and culture and computer classes.  Special Education is available to those students who qualify for services and Title I serves all students in the district.  

Attendance is emphasized in the elementary school and students who maintain perfect attendance are recognized for their accomplishments.
